Bolton Abbey is a very special place for a wedding and the chapel there is stunning. Paul and Jacquie hired the actual Rolls Royce that Mrs Simpson had for her wedding to King Edward but unfortunately it made her 15 mins late, oops! I smoothed things over with the vicar as I arrived before she did so all was OK. Most of the time being a Harrogate Wedding Photographer is about being kind, considerate and helpful and this definitely applies when you are in someones church. The ceremony was beautiful then onto the reception a few minutes walk away. The Tithe Barn is a purpose built event venue designed to replicate a large teepee. It has onsite catering and a covered area at the back. We did have some rain but the majority of the time it was nice and warm. Paul and Jacquie lost their beloved dog a few months before and they had placed a picture on the top table so she could be with them. The reception was great fun. They had a massive Liverpool contingency and they know how to party! Lovely wedding day in beautiful surroundings.
