Alex and James chose Goldborough Hall because of its illustrious setting. Its one of Harrogate wedding photographers favourite places to shoot. You may not get full exclusivity but the way weddings are organised you would never know there were any other guest in the hotel than your own. The room where Alex was getting ready was simple splendid. Huge and with a sunken bath by the window. We utilised the bath (empty) for some shots and it was a lovely place to hang the wedding dress over. Alex was such a super calm bride, big smiles and lovely energy. Her groom James was very funny and had a little green dragon that had accompanied him on his stag do! We did manage to get it in a few shots. In fact all of his grooms men were characters and I did see more of a couple than I had anticipated! Such a lovely, kind and sweet bunch of people its days like this that makes me adore my job. My assistant Ellie was here with me today too, she thought the same as me.
